Kemper Translations is owned and operated by Whitney Kemper and Hana Hattori, both of New York City. With their complementary skills and years of experience working together, Whitney and Hana personally translate and proofread all projects for Kemper Translations. In addition to his experience with Japanese to English translation, Whitney Kemper has extensive professional experience writing and proofreading technical and legal documents. A frequent visitor to Japan, he is well acquainted with the culture of Japan and proficient at expressing uniquely Japanese idioms and phrases into their English equivalent. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts in English, Economics and East Asian Studies from Vanderbilt University. Originally from Nagoya, Japan, Hana Hattori has lived in the United States for the past 7 years. She is fluent in both Japanese and English and holds a Bachelor of the Arts from Lipscomb University. Hana's extensive experience in Japan and the US has provided her with a keen ability to smoothly deliver accurate Japanese to English translations.
